The Northwood Area Women’s Club (NAWC) is a multinational, informal, social, and non-profit association for women living in the outer London area encompassing, but not exclusive to, Hillingdon, Hertfordshire, Harrow, Middlesex and Buckinghamshire.

Our Mission

The objectives of the Club are to assist members in making their residence in England a meaningful experience and to be sensitive to matters affecting the welfare and needs of the membership and the surrounding community.

The NAWC endeavours to support its community by engaging in fundraising activities for a local charity each year.

Club Profile

Fun and informative meetings are held in Northwood at St John’s United Reformed Church Hall, Hallowell Road, HA6 1DN 9:30 a.m. until noon from September through June on the first Thursday of the month. Guest speakers entertain and/or provide talks during the meetings. You are welcome to attend your first meeting as our guest. Membership dues for the year are £30 which helps to cover the cost of hall rental, speakers and tea/coffee at our meetings. We do not have childcare available but babies under 6 months old are welcome to attend with their mothers.

Members may also join any of the many Interest Groups ranging from Book Club, Quilting, Walking & Rambling, Bunco, Scrapbooking, Gourmet Dining and Local Travel.

June 2009 General Meeting Announcement

Join us for our end of the year Social luncheon. This is a great meeting to catch up with friends you may not have seen for awhile or will be apart from for the summer. It is also a perfect time to bring a new friend who might be interested in joining for next year.

Remember to bring your cheque books or money to pay for next year’s membership as we will have membership forms available.

There will also be a book sale so bring your previously read books and buy some new ones for the summer!
